Welcome to Shonnie’s Website!
I’m Lashon, spicy yet, harmless, loving and honest person. I started my blog years ago. I sometimes stop because it’s hard to share ups and downs without being judged.
I am a Veteran and a mother of two sons that have a great relationship with one another.
I use to be an Insurance Agent and Notary for the state of Maryland. But now. I work in D.C. public schools with students.
I don’t like living in a bubble, nor will put God in a BOX!
I love people and animals. I like meeting new people and learning different cultures. I am a great listener as well as emotional supporter of others.
I like my dress down clothes to feel relaxed and to dress up for my professional work as well. I am into a lot of things and love multitasking. I can turn up the heat in the kitchen and get under the hood of a car. I am creative and inspired by God who has giving me all the tools I need to handle all the challenges in life!
I have been doing this for years, and love doing it at times and not other times. It is a lot of work and sometimes can be challenging. The reason I will not give up, is because it’s my passion to encourage others. I have been through it all in life, but still show love and give love, even when love isn’t returned.
I celebrate when others succeed. I pray when others are down. I lift others up when they fall and Encourage others to keep standing in their truths. So they can learn to smile through all the hurt and pain, that this world is capable of giving us.
I am not saying I am built solid and that I don’t hurt at times, or feel sad at times, But having my relationship with God sets me apart from becoming bitter or angry.
And honestly, I think this why people say I don’t look my age. I don’t stay frowned up or stay talking bad about people. Those frowns make the lines in your face more profound. I say what I believe to be true and let it go just as fast as I said it. I forgive faster.
Anyway. lets dive into it and be uplifting!
This website is about freeing up my mind and passing on great vibes and sometimes sad stories too because they are what makes us or breaks us.
